As a female walking into an automotive repair shop is very intimidating and nerve wracking. I can honestly say, this place of business is top tier, specifically Mike. I was offered a ride home and then picked up once my car was ready. As long as I live in Austin I will only take my vehicle to Auto Spec for maintenance. They are professional, honest, empathetic and trustworthy. Give them a chance for your auto repair needs. Trust when I say, you won’t be disappointed.

My clutch gave out and my friend recommended this shop. They were awesome! Mike explained what was wrong, what my options were and answered all my questions. He was patient, clear about costs, needed parts, and set clear timeline expectations. Excellent communication and they even have a shuttle that picked me up when my car was ready. After being told two different possibilities of something wrong with my battery or alternator I called Auto Spec. They said I could come right over and both the battery and alternator were checked while I waited. Nothing was found to be a problem with either. I appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. This is not the first time they have given outstanding service. When my car instantly showed signs of a problem with the rear brakes they allowed me to bring it in immediately and had it repaired the same day. I am grateful to have such an amazing group to work on my car!
