I had arranged auto spec to do an inspection of a used car I intended to purchase… although the initial report over the phone was useful, I would have expected a written report to come with it. I asked for any paperwork they had including the receipt and notes they had, once by email, once by phone and never received anything.

Shout out to Mike and Auto Spec Round Rock! They have done a great job in the past of installing aftermarket performance parts on my beloved sports car. Unfortunately in mid April I was involved in an accident and a national brand collision center could not figure out why my right wheel was rubbing after their repair. 3.5 months later the collision center finally took it to Auto Spec and Mike made it a priority to address the problem and get my car back on the road. A million thanks to Mike!!!

All of the technicians in the shop do a great job with your vehicle. Ray and Mike are very knowledgeable and honest about pricing and time frames.

Always great service, fair pricing, never pushy about repairs but very forthright about potential things coming up so you can prepare (i.e. at the last oil change they said I’ll be needing brakes probably at the oil change after the next).

I have gone to them for 10+ years and have had great experiences with them. I’ve sent multiple family members there. There have been times when I already knew what was wrong and shopped different places to see what different shops would say, and Automotive Specialist was the place where I would get the correct diagnosis. I secretly already knew I needed a belt tightened once and other places wanted to sell me a new AC compressor. Automotive Specialists just said “A belt was loose. We tightened it. You’re good.”

Brought my NA Miata here to have some routine maintenance and other repairs to shifter, etc. Their fast, knowledgeable, and for the quality of work very reasonably priced. Everybody is super friendly and consultative. Will likely bring all my cars here going fwd.

Super friendly guys that diagnosed the problems with my car quickly, and solved them even quicker. Their shop is conveniently located along the 35 freeway. I will be recommending this place to my friends and going back for any car maintenance I need. Thanks Y’all 👍
