I'm really torn about this place as their customer service really seems to vary on who you get working the counter. My mom started using this place about 6 years ago when she moved into Sun City Georgetown and she generally reports having a positive experience here. First thing in morning, I call and schedule an appointment at 430 to get her state inspection completed. Yet upon our arrival, the gentleman working the counter (dressed in a blue fishing shirt and cammo ball cap) can't find it--even though we spelled the last name multiple times. Finally he finds it in the computer but says our appointment isn't until tomorrow. Well, that sets my mom off into a tirade about how she's spent a lot of money on repairs over the years and expects better customer service. I tell her let's just go to Jiffy Lube, but then the guys wants to argue with a 79 year old for a while . When my mom finally asks for the manager, the manager simply says, "We have 3 or 4 state inspection techs inside. Pull one of them off and get this done". About 15 minutes later, the car passed and we're on our way out. On one hand, the manger quickly resolved the issue to our satisfaction, but the gentleman working the counter really needs lesson in customer service.

Love this place! My dad lives in Mississippi so it's nice to know that someone will be there to let me know what's going on with my car and let me have it straight. Everyone is very professional and the place is clean. They also have a driver if you want to go hang out somewhere else while your car is repaired or your oil is changed. They are the only AAA approved car repair in georgetown!

I drive about 30 minutes, past dozens of other mechanic shops, to this one. The first time I walked into the waiting area, I thought I was in the wrong place. It's so nice and clean! Very comfortable if you have to wait, with a complimentary Keurig coffee bar and nice seating. The mechanics are top notch, honest and hardworking. They will educate you and give you options so that you feel comfortable with the repairs or maintenance. I always leave feeling like my business is appreciated. Trust me, you will be in good hands here!

Wouldn't think of taking my car anywhere else! They really take care of their customers. Usually they can get you in and out pretty quickly, but it does get busy from time to time, if you do have to wait....the lobby is very nice with a complimentary Keurig coffee/tea bar and comfortable couches. They did 100,000 mile service on 2007 Acura for 60% of dealer estimate. Did a professional service. They are very reputable in Sun City,Texas. I highly recommend them. Bonnie M

Just a quick note. I had some brake work done and car was assigned to Boyd Blankenship. Boyd was extremely good at diagnosing the problem. Very professional and committed to 100% satisfaction. Auto-Spec is lucky to have BOYD and I would ask for him specifically to do the work on your vehicle. It's hard to find a good and honest mechanic these days. I normally never comment but feel I had to based on him going above and beyond!, Thank you for doing such a good job. This old Vietnam vet
