We have been using Automotive Specialist for a long time. Ray has always given us great quality service.

Disappointed at how a situation was handled. Called to ask about a part that went bad 2 weeks after it was installed (thermostat). Unfortunately it had to be replaced while I was out of town on business. Wanted to know about part warranty. Associate assured me that he would talk with the owner and call me back (2 weeks ago). We've used Auto Spec since they were called JC Automotive and was hoping for a little better service.

Ray and his team at Auto Spec were so lovely to work with. I felt well taken care of and my 2001 Miata is in much better shape. I will definitely come back here again. They're a little bit pricey but worth it for the reassurance that you're getting a great service with an excellent warranty on your repairs. Kind, honest, helpful.

Pros: Friendly, fast, free ride home when I drop car off during business hours, allowed me to owe them some money at a hard time and still let me take my car! Cons: - Highly reluctant to order parts online, which often causes delays in acquiring parts. And MAYBE this is the reason for... - Charged me x2 and sometimes x3 price for parts I can get NEW on Ebay with free delivery. - Took my car to Mazda dealer. They jacked the car up and pointed to some items where AutoSpec had clearly skimped on or just left unbolted. Some minor and some serious. - Found a 3-yr persistent vibration was caused by 1 of 4 tires being on backwards in terms of tread direction. AutoSpec had for sure removed that wheel more than once to work on suspension, yet never noticed or said a thing.
