Auto-Spec is a local service provider with a caring commitment to the customer. We have used them for years for various vehicles and are pleased with the quality of service. Recently while waiting for my vehicle maintenance, I observed a situation which clearly demonstrated that customer service comes first. An elderly lady walked in with an issue with her car. One of the service advisors looked at her car and discovered she had virtually run out of oil. She explained her husband used to take care of their vehicles. Auto-Spec filled her car with oil and checked for leaks, then sent her on her way. This act of kindness reinforced Auto-Spec employees truly care for their customers. I am delighted to be a loyal customer!
Went to make appointment for vehicle inspection. Closest available opening was 28th of November, however he ask me to come back the next day and drop it off and he would try to squeeze me in. Not only did he deliver, but did not charge me since I am a veteran. What an awesome jester. Thanks for making my day.

I have always been very skeptical of auto shops and not wanting to feel like I am being taken advantage of. At Auto-Spec they are different. They welcome questions about the work being done and are happy to educate you. I had a situation in which I brought my car in due to a leak. It was repaired and then two months later I noticed a similar leak so I tooK it back to Auto-Spec. Thinking, here we go again, my skepticism came back. But that was not the case. After review of the new leak it was found that it was not related to the previous work that was done and was due to an oil ring that was not replaced (at a different shop). I did have some frustration with the call tree they have in place and had voiced my frustration with the shop. Auto Spec took the time to understand my frustrations and placed an oil ring on the car at their cost. Which they did not have to. I have to say that Jose and John at Auto-Spec Georgetown have changed my outlook on auto shops. Thank you Jose and John I appreciate your professionalism.
