We’ve been going to Automotive Specialists since we moved here two years ago and honestly, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. John, the owner, Mike and Ray, make the experience easy and simple. Super friendly staff and reasonably priced services are why we keep going. My 2.5 yr old son, was even given a tour of the garage on our last appt, since he really loves the cars. I mean, seriously where else do you get such family friendly service!

I've been taking my '07 Ford F150 and '07 Honda S2000 to JC Auto Spec since I moved to Austin in 2006. They take great care of my vehicles, answer all my questions and explain all needed repairs thoroughly. They also have a courtesy shuttle that can take you to work or back home if its not too far. There's very little turnover of staff and mechanics at this shop, I've been seeing the same people the last 10 plus years and everyone is very courteous. One of the most honest shops I've been, they diagnose problems correctly and only fix things that need to be repaired. I always recommend this shop to all my family and friends!

I'm fortunate that I haven't needed any major work on my old '97, 315K mileage Maxima, since I moved to Round Rock 9 months ago. That being said, it was extremely important to me to find a shop that truly cares about routine maintenance and helps with the small stuff before the bigger problems have a chance. I value a good, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable auto shop as much as (if not more than) I value the same traits in a doctor. My experience so far has convinced me that I've found all of that here. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I learned today about the shuttling service, which took me to work so that I didn't have to call for a Lyft ride - what a gift. Looking forward to bringing our cars here for many years to come, and driving my well-maintained Maxima for at least another 200K miles!
